EDOM (IDUMAEA). 4th century BC. Drachm (Subaeratus, 13 mm, 3.45 g), imitating Athens. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet, degraded to nearly plain bulge. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Cf. GTvA 34-59 and HGC 10, 617. Test cut on obverse and with breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
